The Saudi King Abdullah made the first official state visit from a Saudi Monarch in more then yesterday.
Saudi Arabia and the monarchy itself is known for its extremely oppressive rule that often makes many people call his government a tyranny.
So when he visited the Queen yesterday the military band played a very appropriate song for him.
The Imperial March. (you know the Empire's theme from star wars)

Then again I think this is being a little unfair to him as he constantly has both the west, and crazed Fundamentalist Imans breathing down his neck. Unfortunately apparently he is more concerned with the clerics and a trying to keep the lid on a violent insurgency being waged by Al-Qaeda. Then again I don't think he really is into spreading Islam then making money, he justs writes of checks for the Missionaries.

Lets try this again.

After a long period of on and off blogging, I'll think I will try to do a daily blog about current events, foreign relations, science, technology, economic happenings and whatever piques my interest.
